Services

In our second-hand medical imaging equipment distribution business, several services are involved to ensure effective operation and meet customer needs. Some of these services include:

Inspection

We can provide support to our clients in the inspection and evaluation of equipment they are going to buy from third parties throughout the USA, so they have an expert opinion on the integrity of the equipment they acquire.

Uninstallation

We perform Uninstallation professionally, always ensuring integrity and keeping the parts and accessories of the equipment together.

Installation

We perform coordinated installations in several countries together with our regional and local collaborators.

Logistics and Storage

We have the capacity to remove equipment, prepare it, clean it, pack it and store it in Florida for up to 15 days at no cost for dispatch to the client in Latin America.

Repair

We provide Preventive maintenance service to equipment before traveling, if necessary. We serve Mammography, Densitometer, X-rays, among others.

Refurbishment

We perform this when the equipment warrants it or when the client requests it. For example, battery replacement and replacement of expired circuits.

Equipment

We sell, buy, repair and replace Tomography and X-Ray equipment in various capacities. From ultrasound machines to CR and DR devices and much more, we can ensure your clinic is equipped in the best possible way. Our digital radiography systems include:

Mammography Equipment

The mammography machine works by sending a controlled dose of radiation through breast tissue, allowing detailed images of the breasts to be obtained on radiographic film or in digital format. These images can show tumors, cysts or other abnormal structures that may require further evaluation or follow-up.

CT and MRI Scanners

CT (computed tomography) and MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) scanners are diagnostic imaging equipment used in medicine to obtain detailed images of the inside of the body. CT uses X-rays to create cross-sectional images of the body, allowing accurate assessment of tissues and organs. MRI uses magnetic fields and radio waves to generate detailed images of soft tissues and internal structures. Both scanners are non-invasive and provide accurate diagnoses, enabling early detection and monitoring of diseases, improved treatment planning and more comprehensive medical services. The decision to acquire these equipments should be based on a careful assessment of the medical institution's needs and resources.

X-Ray Machines

X-rays are a diagnostic imaging technique that uses X-ray machines to obtain internal images of the body. X-ray machines emit a small amount of ionizing radiation that passes through the body and is captured on radiographic film or a digital detector, creating two-dimensional images of bones, tissues and organs. X-rays are widely used to diagnose fractures, detect abnormalities in organs and soft tissues, and guide medical procedures. They are a fast and non-invasive method that provides crucial information for the diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions. Safety precautions must be taken to limit radiation exposure for both the patient and medical staff.

CR and DR Digitizers

A CR (Computed Radiography) system is a computed radiography equipment that uses phosphor plates to capture ionizing radiation during a radiographic examination. The plates are digitally scanned to create high-resolution radiographic images in digital format. The CR system offers speed in processing and storage capacity for a large number of images. It is compatible with different plate sizes and has advanced software for image processing and analysis. In addition, it has an intuitive user interface with touch screen and allows DICOM connectivity to transfer images to PACS storage and visualization systems. The CR system complies with safety and image quality standards in digital radiography and is used for accurate and efficient diagnostics.

Bone Densitometer

A bone densitometer is medical equipment used to measure the bone mineral density (BMD) of bones. It works by emitting low-dose X-rays or gamma rays that pass through the bones and are detected by the device. BMD is calculated by comparing the absorption of X-rays or gamma rays by the bone with that of surrounding tissues. This process allows evaluation of bone health, diagnosis of osteoporosis and determination of bone fracture risk. Bone densitometers are essential in early detection and monitoring of bone density, helping healthcare professionals make informed decisions about treatment and prevention of bone diseases. It is a non-invasive and safe tool for the patient that provides accurate results and contributes to improving the quality of life of people with bone conditions.

Parts and spare parts for imaging equipment

Medical imaging equipment, such as computed tomography (CT) scanners, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), mammography systems, X-ray systems and ultrasound machines, have various essential parts and spare parts for optimal operation. Some of the common parts and spare parts include X-ray tubes, magnetic resonance coils, phosphor plates for computed radiography (CR) systems, ultrasound transducers, image detectors, monitors and screens, cooling systems, power supplies and cables, keyboards and control systems, as well as support and structural parts. Proper management of these parts and spare parts is vital to ensure the maintenance and durability of medical imaging equipment, and manufacturers and suppliers offer services to ensure their availability and proper operation.

Ultrasound and Echography Devices

Ultrasound and echography devices are medical diagnostic equipment that use high-frequency sound waves to create real-time images of the body's internal organs and tissues. They work through transducers that emit and receive sound waves, without using ionizing radiation, making them safe and non-invasive. These real-time images allow the evaluation of various medical conditions in areas such as obstetrics, gynecology, cardiology, general radiology, internal medicine and emergencies. Portability and Doppler capability to measure blood flow are additional features. Ultrasound and echography devices are valuable tools in medical practice due to their ability to provide dynamic and detailed information for the diagnosis and monitoring of various diseases.
